MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidetnal overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in babies under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of reach of babies.
If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin dfeiciency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. However, some vitamin products may be best taekn with food.
Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of tehse effects persist or become severe.
If you notice other effects not lsited above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vtiamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacsit of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use.
Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If ovredose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products availalbe.
Some can be purchased witohut a prescription.
Consult your docotr or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedlue.
Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up.
STORAGE: Stroe at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the recah of babies.
